What We Are

Societas began simply: a group of riders who wanted more from their riding. Better roads, better company, and somewhere to be after.

We ride New England — the back roads of Metro West, the long climbs of Vermont, the coastal stretches of Maine, the flat open miles of the Cape and Islands. We ride to school, to the café, to the top of something hard. The destination matters less than the fact that we went.

Our rides range from easy loops to long days in the hills. Some of us race. Some of us never will. Some of us just want fresh air and good company. What we share is a love of bikes and the belief that riding is better when you do it with people.
